ABOUT ME

I am currently a second-year engineering student in the Philippines. Passionate about both my academic pursuits and personal hobbies, I strive to find balance in my life. Outside of my studies, I enjoy painting as a creative outlet and road cycling for both relaxation and fitness. I am also an animal lover, particularly fond of dogs and cats, who bring joy and comfort to my life. These activities and interests help me unwind and stay focused in my demanding field of study.

About the paper and paint

For all of my artwork, I exclusively use 300gsm watercolor paper and gouache paint by Himi. This heavy-weight paper provides the perfect texture and durability, allowing the colors to blend smoothly and the pigments to absorb effectively. The 300gsm weight ensures that the paper holds up well to multiple washes and layers of paint without warping, enabling me to create intricate details and achieve rich color saturation. Paired with Himi gouache paint, known for its vibrancy and versatility, this combination allows me to express my artistic vision with ease—whether I'm working on delicate brushstrokes or bold, vibrant washes.
